ED questions CMD of DHFL Kapil Wadhawan in connection with Iqbal Mirchi case

Kapil Wadhawan CMD of DHFL was called by ED on Monday evening at the Mumbai office in connection with the case related to the late drug trafficker Iqbal Mirchi. Dheeraj Wadhawan who is Kapil's brother and also the non-executive director of DHFL has been named by some of the accused arrested in connection with deals of Iqbal Mirchi's properties in Worli, Mumbai. Asked about the deals between Dheeraj's firm and Iqbal Mirchi, Kapil Wadhawan told India Today TV, "We are clear and we are completely clean". Meanwhile, Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty who was also questioned last week in connection with a land deal between him and Dheeraj Wadhawan has been summoned again this week.
