Congress condemns attack on Revanth Reddy

Deccan Chronicle

Hyderabad: A day after stones were thrown at a street corner meeting of PCC chief A. Revanth Reddy in Bhupalpally, Congress leaders condemned the attack and came down heavily on the ruling BRS party. “The incident at Jayashankar Bhupalpally shows how much the ruling BRS party is afraid of the Congress party. Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy, who won on Congress ticket, not only defected from the party but also attacked Congres leaders with stones,” he said. CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that it was high time that the ruling BRS party mended its ways and stop indulging in physical attacks on the Opposition.
