Chargers’ Elijah Molden leads former Titans who helped elevate NFL’s No. 1 defense

Elijah Molden celebrates one of his team-high three interceptions with teammates. Discarded by the Tennessee Titans for a 2026 seventh-round draft pick after training camp, Molden has turned into a key force behind the Chargers’ defensive renaissance. “It’s not over,” Molden said with a smile after he had six tackles and one interception against the Cleveland Browns last week. Chargers cornerback Kristian Fulton, doubtful to play Sunday because of a hamstring injury, recognized Elija Molden’s talents when they were both with the Tennessee Titans. After playing for the Titans last season, Molden, Fulton and defensive lineman Teair Tart all are making key contributions to the Chargers’ defense.
