Radio star Kip Wightman posts extraordinary footage of his 12-year-old niece Rosie trying to save her pet from the jaws of a snake in her Sunshine Coast backyard

Terrifying footage has emerged of radio star Kip Wightman's brave niece as she tried to save her pet guinea pig from the mouth of a snake in the backyard of her family's home. The KIIS FM breakfast host in Brisbane uploaded the video to Instagram on Wednesday showing the dramatic moment his niece Rosie desperately tried to save her pet at her home in Eumundi, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, last Sunday. Rosie desperately tried to save her guinea pig Maxibon from the jaws of a snake after it had attached itself to the small white animal Rosie continued swinging the snake by the tail for several seconds. Moments later Rosie's parents rushed into the the backyard and her dad quickly worked to remove the snake from the guinea pig.
