Read our privacy policy Riverdale actor Lili Reinhart has spoken out after an imposter managed to successfully pose as her in numerous written Q&A interviews. “We want to sincerely apologise to Lili and her fans for this unfortunate situation.” Reinhart took to her Instagram Stories to share the statement from Seventeen Magazine, adding: “For some bizarre reason, someone impersonated me in an interview with @seventeen. “It's been brought to my attention that the interview I shared with Lili Reinhart was fake, and someone has been impersonating Lili and her publicist,” tweeted Lucas Hill-Paul, a TV reporter with the outlet. “Obviously, I’m embarrassed and quite disturbed, and sincerely apologise to anyone who was misled by the article.” The quotes that were sent to the publications included relatively mundane comments on the development of Reinhart’s Riverdale character, Betty Cooper, who becomes an FBI trainee ahead of season five.
