Who's who in Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk's new Queensland Cabinet?
ABCQueensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has unveiled her new-look Cabinet. Former attorney-general Yvette D'Ath will take over as Health Minister, while Treasurer Cameron Dick has added investment to his plate while remaining focused on delivering the state's budget before Christmas. Remaining in the same roles are Education Minister Grace Grace, Transport and Main Roads Minister Mark Bailey, Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Mark Furner, Regional Development Minister Glenn Butcher and Police Minister Mark Ryan. Meaghan Scanlon, who is the Member for Gaven on the Gold Coast, will become Environment Minister following an impressive election result which transformed one of Labor's most marginal seats into a safe one with a swing of 7.6 per cent. The other new additions to Cabinet are Member for Townsville Scott Stewart, who will be Resources Minister, and Member for Nudgee Leanne Linard, who will become Minister for Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs.
