POWERCHINA's solar-thermal project wins award in Morocco
China DailyThe Award Certificate for Social Responsibility presented to SEPCO III by Quarzazate province, Morocco POWERCHINA's Morocco Noor 150 mW Solar-Thermal Power Plant, received two certificates from the Quarzazate government on Oct 22 for its outstanding contribution to society, as well as its assistance in developing the local economy and improving employment rates. Since the ground breaking, SEPCO III has always kept in mind POWERCHINA's corporate mission. By fitting in with the local customs and habits, SEPCO III created a positive environment for the project's full implementation. As of now, SEPCO III has provided locals with over 6,000 job positions, where they can get professional training and pick up construction skills necessary for their re-employment.
