Union ministers meet over Karnataka's mining tax and its economic repercussions

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Heavy Industries in New Delhi, was attended by Steel Ministry Secretary Sandeep Poundrik, NMDC Chairman Amitava Mukherjee, senior officials from the Law Ministry, and top representatives from mining companies. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi envisions India as a developed nation by 2047 and aims for the country to become the third-largest global economic power.
