Apple might give new AirPods a camera that could feed data to AI
What are you expecting from the new Apple devices in the coming years? Well, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working on adding infrared cameras in AirPods, which could help the device feed more data to AI. In his latest report, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed that Apple has been toying with the concept of AirPods featuring outward-facing cameras designed to feed real-time data to AI systems. Already, the company is exploring the idea of AirPods with outward-facing cameras that could feed data to AI,” noted Gurman. Back in June 2024, noted Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that mass production of AirPods with infrared cameras could begin by 2026.
