Western Australian government to buy properties hit by Mira Mar landslip in Albany

Regional Development Minister Don Punch was unavailable for interview but a government spokesperson said it was committed to working with landholders including the "consideration of purchases of properties within the immediate slip zone". Long-term plans under consideration The spokesperson said the government was considering long-term options for the site given the "significant complexities surrounding any form of implementation".
