MTG blames New Orleans attack on 'wide open border' — as suspect ID'd as TX military vet

In response to the devastating vehicle-ramming attack in New Orleans on New Year's Day, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene insinuated that the Biden administration's border policy was to blame — all of which appear now to have jumped the gun. "Terrorist attack in NOLA similar to the one in the German Christmas market," Greene wrote on X of the incident, which has left 10 dead and dozens more wounded. Greene followed this up with another post, in which she said, "New Orleans terrorist attacker is said to have come across the border in Eagle Pass TWO DAYS AGO!!! However, Jabbar was a U.S. citizen born in Texas, casting doubt on Greene's immediate suspicion the attack was enabled by weak border security.
