MSMEs and start-ups in Tiruchi apprised of online tools for ease of doing business

Owners of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and start-ups had an opportunity to learn about using online tools such as Government E-Marketplace, Tamil Nadu Single Window Portal and Biz Buddy for their daily business operations at an interactive session organised by Guidance Tamil Nadu and the Tiruchi chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry on Friday. Charles Rajkumar, helpdesk team lead, TNSWP, said that going online would enhance the ease of doing business for companies since a large number of government departments and clearances had been integrated into one portal. Jothi Narayanan, senior manager, EODB Biz Buddy, explained how to get clearance certificates and raise tickets for grievance redress online. Chella Ramaswamy, chairman, CII Tiruchi zone, and Sharada Devi, regional head, Union Bank of India, spoke.
