Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Wednesday slammed the Narendra Modi government over the situation in Kashmir. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who is an MP from Murshidabad district, met the family of the deceased migrant labourers at Bahalnagar village under Sagardighi police station, about an hours distance from his constituency Baharmpur on Wednesday. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury spoke to Ministry of Home Affairs officials from the spot, seeking a helpline for areas which has a high concentration of labourers migrating to Kashmir for work. Slamming the Modi government over lack of security for non-Kashmiri migrant workers, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, "Indian government had declared that it will give security to every person in Kashmir.
