Threads Rolls out New Advanced Search

Thread is rolling out a search feature that will allow users filter searches to a specific profile and within date ranges. This option helps Threads to compete with Social media platforms such as X and Bluesky, which supports advanced searching compared to Threads. The social media platform has seen an influx of new users since the US presidential election results. To counter Bluesky and X, Meta’s Threads rolled out new features including custom following feeds, updated algorithm and also a design change making it easier to move between feeds.
