CM seeks Centre’s support for spree of development works launched in Telangana
The HinduChief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has requested Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy to work for securing support of the Centre for the spree of developmental projects launched in Telangana. He recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assurance on taking up construction of regional ring road in 2022 and said the State government had started the process for acquiring required land in this direction. Mr. Revanth informed Mr. Kishan Reddy that radial roads should be developed for connecting the outer ring road with the RRR and the project including 10 greenfield roads would entail expenditure of around ₹45,000 crore. Mr. Revanth Reddy reiterated the government’s request to allocate 222.27 acre defence land enabling the State government to take up the prestigious Gandhi Sarovar project as part of Musi riverfront development project.
