Falcons’ Raheem Morris laments not using timeout on final drive vs. Commanders

Atlanta Falcons coach Raheem Morris admitted after Sunday’s overtime loss to the Washington Commanders that it might have been wise to use a timeout on the team’s final drive of regulation. You can always go back and look at it and see if you can get it snapped a little bit quicker.” On Monday, Morris further explained his decision to not use a timeout at the end of the fourth quarter, saying he didn’t want to allow the Commanders to make defensive substitutions and get more pass rushers on the field.
