Sadaf Jafar thrashed, manhandled by male cops: UP Congress after visiting CAA protester in jail

Social activist and Congress worker Sadaf Jafar, who was arrested during Thursday's violent protests in Lucknow, was visited at the Lucknow jail by UP Congress chief Ajay Kumar Lallu and other party leaders on Monday. UPCC leaders Ajay Lallu, legislature party leader Aradhna Mishra and others met Sadaf Jafar and slammed the government's move to jail her. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also took to Twitter to demand immediate release of Sadaf Jafar. Before being picked up by the police, Sadaf Jafar posted a video on Facebook highlighting police inaction as the protests turned violent.
