YSRC Giddalur MLA quits active politics

Tirupati: YSRC MLA from Giddalur, Anna Rambabu, has announced his withdrawal from active politics ahead of the 2024 elections. Rambabu urged party leaders to put aside their differences at least after his withdrawal from active politics and unite for the collective goal of securing victory for the party in the 2024 polls. In 2019, he joined the YSRC, following the defection of the sitting YSRC MLA, Ashok Reddy, to the TD. Prior to his TD stint, Rambabu had been a member of the Praja Rajyam Party, founded by actor-politician Chiranjeevi, representing Giddalur in the state sssembly during the undivided AP era.
