What is PM-Vidyalakshmi Scheme: Check all key details

Getting a student loan has now been made easier. The scheme will provide financial support to deserving students, ensuring that financial barriers do not stop anyone from pursuing higher education, as stated by the government. Interest subvention: Students from families earning up to Rs 8 lakh annually, who are not receiving other government subsidies, will get a 3% interest subsidy on loans up to Rs 10 lakh. The scheme will be available to students enroling in the top 860 Quality Higher Education Institutions in India, as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework. The aim is to support around 2.2 million students annually by providing loans of up to Rs 7.5 lakh with favourable interest rates.
