Centre to implement expert panel's suggestions on NEET UG exam reforms

The Centre informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that it will implement all corrective measures recommended by a seven-member expert panel on exam reforms. The Centre has expanded the mandate of a seven-member expert panel, led by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan, to review the NTA's functioning and propose reforms aimed at making the NEET UG more transparent and resistant to malpractices. On October 21, 2024, the Supreme Court extended the deadline for the Centre-appointed seven-member expert panel to submit its report on exam reforms.
