Google applies for license to allow Huawei to use its mobile services and apps: Report
India TodayBarely days after Huawei launched the its very own suite of apps to replace Google Mobile Services, the Android maker is now working to bring the Huawei back to its side. This information comes courtesy of DPA which claims Android and Google Play vice-president Sameer Samat informed it that Google has applied to the US government to resume business dealings with Huawei. Now with Google applying for a license, the company could again be allowed to provide its Google Mobile Service suite to Huawei phones in the future. In the meantime, Huawei phones continue to be blocked from using GMS, and instead now come running Huawei Mobile Services that brings with itself a number of essential apps, including access to the Huawei App Gallery that serves to replace Google Play on newer Huawei phones.
