Luocheng locals prosper from black goat farming

The black goat cultivation industry at the family farms in Luocheng Mulam autonomous county, Hechi, has been thriving, transforming the area's ecological advantages into tangible economic benefits and paving a green path to wealth. The environment around the family farms, including undulating hills and lush vegetation, is ideal for grazing black goats. Lu Shiyou, a black goat breeder, said that the goats graze in the mountains for over five hours daily, feeding on natural grass. Currently, Lu's farm has around 400 black goats, with nearly 80 sold this year, generating an annual income of over 100,000 yuan.
