Deccan ChronicleKalaburagi: The Karnataka government has initiated a high-level inquiry into alleged irregularities involving the Kalyana Karnataka Regional Development Board and the Kalyana Karnataka Human Resource Agricultural and Cultural Association. Retired IAS officer Sudhir Kumar has been appointed to lead the probe, following a preliminary report by former Additional Chief Secretary Dr EV Ramana Reddy. According to the government order issued on November 11, Sudheer Kumar is tasked with examining complaints of misuse of funds and other discrepancies within these organizations, which play a vital role in the development of the Kalyana Karnataka region. The government emphasized that KKRDB and association officials must promptly cooperate by supplying any requested documents or information without delay.
