Himachal cops kill resort manager for denying food, alcohol; 2 arrested

Two policemen were arrested in Himachal Pradesh after they allegedly killed a resort manager and seriously injured a receptionist during a New Year’s celebration at a private resort in Banikhet, near Dalhousie. According to the resort's owner, the incident occurred late on Tuesday, when three policemen arrived at the resort demanding alcohol and food. When the resort’s general manager, Rajinder, arrived to mediate, he was allegedly attacked as well. Local authorities believe the policemen may have been intoxicated during the incident, which occurred during a New Year’s celebration.
