Matt Murray is hurt. What now for the Maple Leafs?

New York Times

Matt Murray was in the home net at the Maple Leafs morning skate on Saturday, preparing to play his former Senators team for the first time since the summer trade that brought him to Toronto. Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe said Murray began suffering from groin discomfort at the skate. “We’re just gonna focus on getting Matt assessed and take it from there.” It’s hard to imagine Murray starting on Saturday or even Monday against the Coyotes. Murray dealing with something one start into his Leafs career is obviously hugely worrisome for the Leafs, especially given their current cap and contract situation as well as injuries throughout the organization’s goalie ranks.
