Meta May Introduce AI-Powered User Accounts on Facebook, Instagram

Tech giant Meta might introduce AI bots on its social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. Meta has already introduced AI features to the platforms, and now the social media giant is planning for AI-powered user accounts. “We expect these AIs to actually, over time, exist on our platforms, kind of in the same way that accounts do,” Connor Hayes, vice-president of product for generative AI at Meta, told the publication. In July 2024, Meta introduced a new tool called AI Studio that will allow users to create, share, and design personalized AI chatbots.
