So you've had a coronavirus test, and now you're wondering: How long does it take until I get my results? Premier Daniel Andrews says the Health Department gets the information from your test result "about two hours" after you receive it. Western Australia WA Health says you will be advised of a test result by text message within three business days of your test. The department says if you get a negative test result, or your symptoms resolve, you can leave home isolation unless you have been instructed by Public Health to quarantine at home.
