Making RTC a robust entity is priority: Chairman Goverdhan
HYDERABAD: TSRTC chairman Baji Reddy Goverdhan, who completed one year in the job on Wednesday, spoke about his plans to make transport a robust organisation. Under the ‘Bread Winner’ scheme, 168 persons who were next of kin of deceased RTC employees would be recruited. Presently the RTC is generating Rs 13 to 14 crore each day.” Goverdhan said, "The pending benefits for the employees who had retired from services will be remitted during the year. During the meeting five members received training letters under the ‘bread winner scheme’.
