Two killed as auto-rickshaw crushed between two BMTC buses
Two persons were killed after an auto-rickshaw was crushed between two Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation buses near Hosakerehalli Cross on Friday. The mishap happened when a BMTC bus moving ahead of the auto-rickshaw made a sudden stop, and the rickshaw rammed into it. According to the BMTC, the driver of the BMTC bus attached to depot 33 applied a sudden break when a car took a sudden turn at NCERT Junction. The police said that though the BMTC bus applied sudden brakes, he had shown a hand signal, but the auto-rickshaw driver was overspeeding and couldn’t control his vehicle in such a short period and rammed into the bus from behind.
