District Forum Holds Builder Guilty For Not Giving Flat's Possession To Homebuyer; Orders Refund, ₹50K Costs For Mental Harassment

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi has recently found Imperia Structures Limited guilty of deficiency in service for not providing possession of a plot booked by a homebuyer within the stipulated time.In doing so the commission directed the builder to pay Rs.14,36,946 along with interest as well as Rs.50,000 as compensation for mental harassment.
