BJP leader and National Commission for Women member Khushbu Sundar, who has been facing flak for her 'Cheri Language' remark which is considered to be a casteist slur, on Saturday, said she had seen protests against her and was ready to face them. Tamil Nadu Congress and Dalit bodies criticised Sundar for her ‘Cheri language’ remark. Chinnaraj reacted days after Khushbu expressed her views about derogatory comments made by Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan against his Leo co-star Trisha and other actresses on X. Replying to it, Sundar claimed that "DMK goons" acted in such a manner. Sorry can’t speak your 'Cheri' language but I would suggest waking up and looking at what was spoken and the action taken,” the actor-politician said.
