Rs 5 lakh sanctioned under Dalit Bandu security fund

KARIMNAGAR: For the first time, the state government has sanctioned Rs 5 lakh from the Dalit Bandhu security fund to a beneficiary who faced a loss due to arson at her medical diagnostic lab. The beneficiary, Guggilla Swarnalatha, a native of Jupaka village, opened a medical diagnostic lab at a private hospital under the Dalit Bandhu scheme. District collector Karnan along with the Zilla Parishad CEO Priyanka went and inspected the sport and later handed over a cheque for Rs 5 lakh from the Dalit Bandhu security fund for re-establishment of the unit. Through the Dalit Bandhu security fund, this could be done, he said.
