Over 1,000 beds added in private hospitals as Delhi reports surge in Covid-19 cases: Health Minister

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Wednesday said 230 more ICU beds and 842 non-ICU have been added in 33 private hospitals to treat coronavirus patients on the directions of the AAP government. In view of a slight rise in coronavirus cases in the capital, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government on Tuesday had issued orders to Delhi hospitals to increase the number of beds.
