Over 1,000 beds added in private hospitals as Delhi reports surge in Covid-19 cases: Health Minister

In view of a slight rise in coronavirus cases in the capital, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government on Tuesday had issued orders to Delhi hospitals to increase the number of beds. Adequate ICU beds in Delhi: Health Minister Satyendar Jain While the number of beds has been increased in the capital keeping in mind the sudden rise in virus cases, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has said that there is adequate availability of beds ICU beds and ventilators in government hospitals. The Delhi government has also instructed private hospitals to update the list of extended ICUs and common beds on the data management portal.
