At this juncture, I should make it clear that while some gender-fluid individuals also identify as non-binary, the terms aren’t one and the same. For many non-binary people, there’s no fluidity with their gender identity, and that’s perfectly okay; we aren’t fixed labels like in clothing. Take our clothes for example, one of the defining ways many of us express ourselves, yet the moment you come out as non-binary you’re expected to change to suit everyone else’s ideology.
