Japan's Omron Healthcare devoted to developing in China
Attendees try out the latest tech products of Omron Healthcare at the ongoing CIIE in Shanghai in November. More investment, bigger factories and deeper cooperation here in the Chinese market are testament of Japan's Omron Healthcare's firm determination in developing in China despite the complex world economic and geopolitical situations, said its top executive at the ongoing China International Import Expo in Shanghai. Liu Jingliang, vice-president of Omron Healthcare China, said that the Chinese market has occupied several "most" spots among the company's overall global markets. Liu said that the company established a research and development and production base in Dalian, China in 1993 and decades of R&D efforts have made the base one of the world's top production lines. "It has become a great opportunity for Omron to participate in the vigorous development of the nation's health industry, especially smart medical care in the consumer market," he said.
