Dutch auto sales decline in February, but EV market grows

New car registrations in the Netherlands fell by 8.3 percent in February, with 27,820 passenger vehicles registered, according to press release from BOVAG, RAI Vereniging, and RDC. Kia remained the best-selling brand, with 3,517 registrations and a 12.6 percent market share. Among EVs, the Kia EV3 led with 1,226 registrations and a 12.1 percent market share. Hybrid vehicles held the largest market share at 44.9 percent, while fully electric cars made up 36.6 percent of new registrations.
