Telangana Names Hyderabad’s Second Longest Flyover After Manmohan Singh

Revanth Reddy on Monday inaugurated Hyderabad’s second longest flyover at Aramghar and announced the government’s decision to name it after former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh. Observing that Old City was the original Hyderabad, Revanth Reddy said that it was during Congress rule that we built Hyderabad’s largest flyover — P.V. Explaining his development plans for the Old City further, the Chief Minister said: “In a week, I will lay the foundation stone at the Goshamahal Police station for the construction of a new Osmania Hospital.” He said that since coming to power Congress Government has been addressing issues step by step. “This flyover project was taken up as a major task by the Congress government and has successfully completed it.” He said the Congress government is fully committed to the development of the Old City and set up IT towers and skill development centre in the Old City to create employment opportunities.
