However, it was percived that the pause was linked to the viral images of Trump getting arrested and Pope in a puffy jacket. Along with Trump, the realistic images of President Emmanuel Macron walking through the ongoing protests in Paris and Elon Musk holding hands with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, were also going viral on the internet. Midjourney needs to do more to address the threat of fake images on its platform and that its moderation policies may need to be updated and made more consistent with other similar services.
