NSW Premier announces plan to build residential development with 97 homes on former site of Bega TAFE

"It doesn't begin and end here, we are looking at converting government land with a minimum 30 per cent of social affordable housing across the state," he said. The Premier said there had been a 56 per cent increase in the social housing priority waitlist in the Bega area. "We have the lowest availability of rentals in NSW, as well as an increasing list of waiting times for social housing," Dr Holland said.
