3 Jaish terrorists arrested for carrying AK-47s sent to police custody for 7 days

A truck carrying arms and ammunition was recovered in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning. When Jammu and Kashmir Police intercepted the truck near the J&K-Punjab border in Lakhanpur, Punjab, they recovered six AK-47 rifles from the vehicle. The three arrested terrorists were sent to 7-day police custody by a Kathua court. SSP Kathua, Sridhar Patil, said that the truck carrying ammunition was seized and four AK-56s, two AK-47s, six magazines and another 180 live rounds were recovered. "The truck was intercepted at around 8 am on the Jammu-Pathankot Highway and during the checking rifles were recovered and seized," Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Makesh Singh told news agency PTI.
