The Bengaluru police said they had arrested a street vendor for being rude to a tourist and Dutch YouTuber who was filming a video log for his channel in the Chickpete area of Bangalore on Monday. Bengaluru Police on Monday said that the individual in the video of the Dutch traveller Predo Mota has been recognised as one Navab Hayath Sharif, and action has been taken against him under the Karnataka Police Act. "Regarding a complaint about misbehaving with foreigner Pedro Mota, a case has been registered against the person Navab Hayath Sharif under Karnataka Police Act Section 92," stated Laxman B. Nimbargi, DCP, West Division, Bengaluru. Numerous social media users urged the Bengaluru police to take action against the accused shortly after the video went viral. The incident occurred two months ago, according to sources from the Karnataka police, but the video was uploaded on Sunday.
