Bata India Q4 result: Net profit up 5% to ₹65.5 cr, dividend declared
Live MintBata India Ltd on Thursday reported 4.5 per cent rise in standalone net profit to ₹65.55 crore for the quarter ended March 2023. Bata India's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization came in at ₹179 crore, up 10.6 per cent year-on-year, while margin fell 23 percent in the reported quarter from 24.3 percent in the year-ago period. “Bata India had a robust year and this reflects in the growth over pre-covid levels for all key metrics and across all business channels of EBOs, MBOs and E-Commerce. With growing number of nuclear families, footfall across the retail segment is also increasing," said Gunjan Shah, MD and CEO - Bata India "We are optimistic about our growth in the backdrop of our innovation and evolution of product offerings.
