Explained: Will online classes blur the lines of quality of education between govt schools and private schools?
The unprecedented Covid-19 situation has severely impacted more than 1.5 billion learners across 190 countries. Among other transformations, online education will level the playing field for students both in government and private schools. In India, whether in modern metropolitans, developing towns or at a rural level, the quality of education is significantly different in government schools and private schools. The quality of education in government schools, and to some extent some private schools have been on the lower side until 5 months back. Ed-tech is definitely one of the game changers to blur the lines of quality of education between government schools and private school.
