Survivor thanks surfers for their courageous rescue

Two South Coast teenagers have received NSW Ambulance Courage Awards after they rescued a surfer found floating face down in the water at Shoalhaven Heads. The 31 year old says he doesn't think the two humble teenagers will ever understand the magnitude of their efforts on the beach that day. "They said it was nothing, but obviously it's a huge thing for me because I've got my brother's wedding coming up. "I think it's pretty straight forward what would have happened to me if they weren't there.
