Naidu: Parents-teachers’ meetings every Dec 7
Deccan ChronicleVijayawada:Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday declared that the Andhra Pradesh government has organised the world’s largest parents-teachers’ meeting at 45,094 government and aided schools across the state. “35 lakh students, 71 lakh parents, 1,88,266 teachers and more than 50,000 public representatives are participating in the mega parents-teachers’ meeting across the state,” Naidu underlined, addressing one such meeting at the Bapatla Municipal High School. Naidu said in the coming days, schools will inform parents about their children’s attendance, health cards and progress reports via mobile phones. Addressing infrastructural needs, the CM assured that all basic facilities will be established by the next academic year, including completion of classroom buildings at Bapatla Municipal High School.
