60 teams to compete in cybersecurity contest in Beijing
China DailySixty teams from colleges and social institutions will showcase their cybersecurity skills in a competition in Beijing on Friday, aimed at defending against online attacks. The contest, organized by the city's cyberspace administration, is a key event during China Cybersecurity Week, which began nationwide on Monday. In addition to the contest, a cybersecurity talent recruitment event will be held Thursday at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. To address the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals, the administration has partnered with the job-seeking platform Boss Zhipin and more than 2,000 companies to offer online recruitment opportunities. Additional activities to raise public awareness of cybersecurity will be held across the city, including events in schools, businesses, and shopping malls, the administration said.
