Calcutta University to take semester exams after one month of reopening

Attention students, as per reports, the Calcutta University will take the semester examination for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students after one month of reopening. Further, the university has also directed all of its affiliated colleges to sanitise their premises within ten days after lifting of the Pan-India lockdown which is scheduled to end on May 17, 2020. On Saturday, May 9, 2020, West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee held a meeting with the Vice-Chancellors of the state universities and said that the academic calendar, including the exams, will be implemented within a month after the lockdown is lifted.
