Prospective new Everton owners 'want David Moyes to replace Sean Dyche' more than a decade after the Scottish manager left Goodison Park

David Moyes could soon be offered the chance to return to Everton. The 61-year-old Scot took charge of 518 games during 11 and a bit seasons in charge at Goodison Park before leaving to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United in 2013. Everton boss Sean Dyche, pictured during Saturday's draw with Brentford, is under pressure The club's prospective new owners could decide to replace Dyche with David Moyes Moyes, pictured in 2006 after a 3-0 win over Liverpool, previously led Everton for 11 years However, according to The Sun, Moyes is being lined up as a replacement for Dyche by the club's prospective new owners. Friedkin, who is seeking support from Everton superfans Andy Bell and George Downing, apparently sees Moyes as a top candidate to replace Dyche should the former Watford and Burnley boss be sacked. Everton have only finished in the top seven twice since Moyes left, while they have ended the last three campaigns 16th, 17th and 15th.
