James Glenday to replace Michael Rowland to join Bridget Brennan as ABC News Breakfast co-host in 2025

James Glenday will switch from presenting the evening news in Canberra to early mornings on a couch in Melbourne as the new co-host of ABC News Breakfast in 2025. Glenday joined Bridget Brennan and outgoing co-host Michael Rowland on News Breakfast, on Monday for the announcement he will become a permanent part of the team next year. Catherine Murphy to replace Tony Armstrong Catherine Murphy, Charles Brice, Nate Byrne and Emma Rebellato will be part of the News Breakfast team in 2025. In other changes to the ABC News Breakfast line up, Catherine Murphy will become full-time sports presenter, replacing Tony Armstrong.
