Dileep to return to Malayalam actors' body after being ousted for a year

Popular Malayalam actor Dileep, who ran into controversy after being arrested for his alleged involvement in the Kerala actress assault case, is all set to make a strong comeback to the actors' body. The annual general body meeting of Association of Malayalam Movie Artists, which was held in Kochi on June 24, recommended the actor's return to the organisation. Dileep was ousted from the actors' body last year, a day after he was arrested in connection with the Malayalam actress assault case. A press conference that was held after the general body meeting, saw unruly scenes after some of the senior actors who defended Dileep indulged in an argument with journalists.
